Built around a lush internal courtyard, the Tanaka Villa is inspired by the architecture and decor of traditional Samurai housing. With most of its space devoted to exhibitions and displays of classical Japanese art and culture, the Tanaka Villa has been carefully curated to make all guests feel as though they have stepped back in time. Upon descending from the rooftop, guests are served tea. They are encouraged to sip their drinks as they walk through the colonnades and take in the breathtaking scenery. Throughout much of the Villa, augmented reality holograms replace organic materials and greenery. The most eye-catching of these is the blanket of nonexistent flowers that cover the lawn, constantly sparkling in bloom. Aside from the courtyard, guests can wander the grounds to explore the rooms and surprises dotted around the Villa. The most famous of which is an anti-gravity room that allows visitors to freely float around and view the Villa from different aerial perspectives. The residential quarter, designed solely for one person, consists primarily of a studio space adapted to create spatial paintings. Located above the studio is the lone bedroom of the entire residence and the only private area in the Villa that is so often filled with crowds of guests.
