Home to one of the most prominent families in NeoTokyo, the Ichikawa Villa is an unusual sight within the City's skyline. Although the family possesses extreme wealth, evidenced by their living up in the mist at the summit of the City, the family still chooses to live in a very conservative and traditional manner, mirroring the lives of their ancestors. The most prominent building, a rectangular meditation room centered around a centuries-old Japanese Maple Tree, is the oldest and most historic piece of architecture on the family's property. Originally built on the family's farm two centuries ago, the building has since been renovated and relocated to the top of the City. The tree, grown from a sapling over 150 years ago and which has been nurtured by their family for generations, has since become a symbol for their house. Often found playing traditional strategy games when they are not praying or meditating, the family is well known for being reluctant to introduce technology into their lives any more than is strictly necessary. The most noticeable aspect of their property, however, is the colossal smoke dragon that encircles their Villa from above. The dragon, believed to be a symbol of protection and guidance, is something the family often looks to when faced with adversity.
