Covered in a primarily brown and earthy palette, the Sika Villa provides a soothing and natural touch to NeoTokyo's gray and industrial skyline. Owned by the wealthy Matsui couple, the namesake founders of Matsui Inc, NeoTokyo's largest design and multimedia company, the Villa is a feat of architecture worthy of their stature within the City. Currently relaxing in their outdoor dining area, having just exited their onsen, the Matsui couple is served the first course of five for the evening, each carefully prepared by a team of chefs. Following the stone path and wooden bridges upstream and over the running water, the garden opens into a large pond. Surrounded by a grove of Hinoki Cypress, the family often sit by the water to relax and meditate. Home to more than just the Matsui family, the space is also inhabited by a herd of Sika Deer that freely roam the grounds. The deer, a sign of the family's estate for many generations, inspired the name of the Villa.
